Neil R. Sarles is a 1972 graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo, and a 1975 graduate of the University of Toledo School of Law, in Toledo, Ohio. In the 1970's, he worked for Legal Aid, representing psychiatric patients at Eastern State Hospital in Spokane, Washington. Mr. Sarles has practiced law in Seattle for over 25 years. He has written and lectured in the areas of elder law and mental commitment law. Mr. Sarles is admitted to practice in state and federal court. He is a former president of the Board of Directors of Orion Industries, a non-profit company that trains handicapped workers. Mr. Sarles and his three school age children call the Wedgewood/Ravenna neighborhood home.
Susan Williams
Susan Williams has been a legal assistant/paralegal for Mr. Sarles since
1991. Before that, she worked for 4 years as a legal secretary. She and
her husband live in Redmond
and, between them, they have four boys and two grandchildren. Susan is a
native of Washington and in her spare time volunteers with her church working with
children. She is also a facilitator and board member with The Compassionate
Friends, a non-profit organization helping bereaved parents.
Jayne Hibbing
Jayne Hibbing has worked for Mr. Sarles for two years as a legal secretary/office
manager. She has over fifteen years experience as a legal secretary and real
estate escrow assistant. Jayne and her husband, who are avid gardeners, live
in Seattle, and have three school-age children at home.
